How Do I Connect a Domain to GoHighLevel?
Short answer
In the sub-account, go to Settings, then Domains & URL Redirects, then + Connect a domain. Point a subdomain at sites.ludicrous.cloud with a CNAME, or a root domain at 162.159.140.166 with an A record, and copy the exact values HighLevel shows on screen.
Checked against HighLevel’s help center on . HighLevel updates its interface often, so match the labels you see on screen.

Use one record per hostname. An A record and a CNAME on the same name will conflict.
Steps
- 1In the sub-account, open Settings, then Domains & URL Redirects.
- 2Click “+ Connect a domain,” then Connect under Funnel/
Website/ Store/ Blog/ Webinar. - 3Enter the domain.
- 4Choose Continue to authorize your DNS provider automatically, or add the record manually.
- 5Once it verifies, pick the funnel or website and its default page, then click Link Domain.
- 6Under Manage, set a default page and a default 404 page.
GoDaddy
GoDaddy works with HighLevel’s automatic Domain Connect option. To add the record by hand, open the domain’s DNS settings in GoDaddy, click Add, enter only the prefix in the Host field, and save each record.
If it won’t connect
- The record went to the wrong DNS host. Check which nameservers are active.
- An old A record or an AAAA record sits on the same hostname. Delete it.
- Cloudflare is proxying the record. Set it to DNS only.
- A CAA record blocks pki.goog. Remove it or allow pki.goog.
- The domain is linked to another funnel or account. Remove it there first.
SSL sets itself up once the domain links. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to spread.
