How Do I Create and Import a Snapshot in GoHighLevel?

Short answer

A snapshot copies one sub-account’s setup, like workflows, funnels, pipelines, and custom fields, so you can load it into another. Importing a share link only adds the snapshot to your agency library. Loading it into a sub-account is a separate step.

Checked against HighLevel’s help center on . HighLevel updates its interface often, so match the labels you see on screen.

Create a snapshot

  1. 1In Agency View, open Account Snapshots.
  2. 2Click “+ Create New Snapshot.”
  3. 3Name it and pick the source sub-account.
  4. 4Select all assets, or choose them by category.
  5. 5Click Create.

Snapshots don’t update on their own. Refresh one after you change the source sub-account.

Import a snapshot someone shared with you

  1. 1Sign in to the agency where you want it stored.
  2. 2Open the share link.
  3. 3Rename it if you like, then click Import Now.
  4. 4Wait until it turns active before importing anything else.

Load it into a sub-account

  1. 1Go to Sub-Accounts, open the three-dot menu, and choose Manage Client.
  2. 2Click Actions, then Load Snapshot.
  3. 3Pick the snapshot and click Proceed.
  4. 4Select the assets to load.
  5. 5For conflicts, choose Override to replace or Skip to keep what’s there.
  6. 6Type “confirm” and click Proceed.

No undo

An override can’t be reversed, and a loaded snapshot can’t be unloaded. Anything you don’t want has to be deleted by hand.

What stays behind

Contacts, conversations, appointments, phone numbers, Stripe, and other integrations don’t come with a snapshot. Funnels and websites arrive as drafts until you connect a domain and publish, and WhatsApp templates and Voice AI agents need their own setup after loading.
