Can I Host Courses in GoHighLevel?

Short answer

Yes. Build courses with modules, lessons, quizzes, and files under Memberships, then Courses, then package them into free or paid offers. Learners sign in through the Client Portal, and you can also add courses to a Community.

Checked against HighLevel’s help center on . HighLevel updates its interface often, so match the labels you see on screen.

Launch a course

  1. 1Go to Memberships, then Courses, then Products, click Create New, and choose Start from scratch
  2. 2Add the title, description, and thumbnail, then click Create Course
  3. 3Build modules and lessons in the Course Editor. Drag items in the Course Map on the left to reorder them.
  4. 4Open Offers, click + Create Offer, and add 1 or more courses
  5. 5Set the price and click Create
  6. 6Switch the offer from Draft to Published and save it
  7. 7Click the link icon to copy the offer link, then share it

An offer can be free, a single payment, or a recurring subscription. Paid offers need a connected payment provider, and course videos can be up to 5 GB.

Other ways to grant access

  • The Course Grant Offer workflow action gives a contact access to an offer without a purchase
  • A separate Payments product can link to a published offer
  • Magic Links sign a customer in without a password, but they don’t grant access on their own

Courses inside Communities

Communities are member spaces with groups, channels, events, and a leaderboard. In the community’s Learning tab, click + Add Course to attach a course you already built. You can open it to all members, limit it to certain member levels, sell it with Buy Now, or unlock it by time or milestones. Courses added there show only inside that group.

The Client Portal

The Client Portal is where learners log in to reach their courses. It runs on clientclub.net until you connect your own domain under Memberships, then Client Portal, then Settings, then Domain Setup. Client Portal settings also hold your branding, a default language, and the Google Sign-In switch.
