Does GoHighLevel Integrate With QuickBooks?
Short answer
Yes. HighLevel has a native QuickBooks integration that you connect under Settings, then Integrations. It sends invoices and payments from HighLevel to QuickBooks and brings QuickBooks contacts into HighLevel.
Checked against HighLevel’s help center on . HighLevel updates its interface often, so match the labels you see on screen.
| Direction | What syncs |
|---|---|
| HighLevel to QuickBooks | Customers, created once a contact has activity in HighLevel |
| HighLevel to QuickBooks | Sales receipts for order form, subscription, membership checkout, and calendar payments, matched on contact email |
| HighLevel to QuickBooks | Invoices once marked as sent, plus later changes to number, status, dates, totals, amount paid, and line item names |
| QuickBooks to HighLevel | Existing and new contacts, with new ones arriving within 5 minutes |
| QuickBooks to HighLevel | Past invoices, if you turn on the import toggle when you connect |
| QuickBooks to HighLevel | A review request when a contact’s first invoice is paid in full |
Connect QuickBooks
- 1In the sub-account, go to Settings, then Integrations
- 2Click QB Connect
- 3Turn on Import invoices if you want past QuickBooks invoices in HighLevel
- 4Leave the review automation on, or turn it off
- 5Log in with your QuickBooks credentials and accept all permissions
Limits to know
- Draft invoices don’t sync. Only Sent, Pending, or Paid invoices reach QuickBooks.
- Invoices created in HighLevel before you connect stay out of QuickBooks
- Edits to imported QuickBooks invoices don’t sync in either direction
- Accepting an estimate doesn’t create a customer in QuickBooks
- The Invoice Paid workflow trigger ignores invoices paid in QuickBooks
- If a sent invoice doesn’t reach QuickBooks, check that the customer exists there. HighLevel’s troubleshooting steps say to create it in QuickBooks first if it’s missing.
To stop the automatic review request, deselect “Send Review Requests for contacts” on the QuickBooks integration card. HighLevel’s QuickBooks article doesn’t list products or services among the data that syncs.
